Celebrity chef and restaurateur Jeremy Fall has released the inaugural episode of "Microwave," his new cooking show exclusively utilizing a microwave, on Instagram. Executive produced by Hypebeast, Fall's newest initiative offers chef-inspired hacks and novice-friendly recipes to the public, delivered through Reels and focusing on the very practical kitchen gadget.
The debut edition and subsequent weekly episodes of Fall provide a comprehensive guide, a thorough list of ingredients, and an accessible video tutorial. The inaugural episode demonstrates the preparation of a tray of Birria Tacos, a quintessential Mexican street meal, serving as an ideal introduction for the Los Angeles-born chef.

Guajillo Beef Birria Tacos
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup shredded organic cooked beef (brisket or chuck)
• 1/4 cup organic guajillo chili sauce (blended with garlic, vinegar, and spices)
• 1/4 tsp organic cumin
• 1/4 tsp organic smoked paprika
• Sea salt
• Organic corn tortillas (2–3)
• 1/4 cup shredded organic Monterey Jack or Oaxaca cheese
• 1 tbsp finely diced organic white onion
• 1 tbsp chopped organic cilantro
• Lime wedge
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the Birria Filling
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine:
• 1/2 cup shredded beef
• 1/4 cup guajillo sauce
• 1/4 tsp cumin
• 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
• Pinch of sea salt
• Cover and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and set aside.
2. Assemble the Tacos
• Place tortillas between damp paper towels and microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
On each tortilla, layer:
• Cheese
• Warm birria beef mixture
3. Melt & Crisp
• Fold each tortilla in half and place on a microwave-safe plate.
• Microwave uncovered on high for 1–1.5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges begin to crisp.
4. Finish & Serve
• Top with diced onion and cilantro.
• Serve with a lime wedge on the side.
