Following his ascent to prominence with the produce-centric restaurant L’Enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria, he advanced further by establishing his own regenerative farm, Our Farm, which provides fresh food to his establishments. The chef is now offering urban residents a culinary experience by inaugurating a pop-up at his London establishment, Aulis.

Our Farm Is Emerging in London

Our Farm will be present in Soho for a single day on 15 September 2025, operating as a farm shop and deli. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase farm food, including seasonal greens, fruits, and vegetables, along with pantry items such as lemon thyme oil and perilla vinegar. A variety of goods will be available, including T-shirts, plantable pens, tote bags, and cookbooks.

Additionally, Our Farm’s Head Chef Liam Fitzpatrick and Rogan’s Group Executive Chef Paul Burgalières will collaborate to prepare a variety of meals for takeaway lunches. The menu will feature a Herdwick lamb 'hot dog' accompanied by courgette relish and Our Farm ketchup; a celeriac shawarma flatbread served with broad bean hummus; and a lemon verbena doughnut paired with ice cream.

In the evening, Rogan will conduct a discussion on the future of regenerative farming in partnership with The Good Food Guide, accompanied by his team. This event will occur at the adjacent café, Sacred Grounds.

The day will seek to provide an overview of the mission and principles of Our Farm, established by Rogan in 2011. “I was aware that I could cultivate far superior ingredients that would produce exceptional flavor for the innovative dishes I aspired to create,” he states. Our current objective is to enhance the connection between our food, its production, and the environment. By cultivating all our produce, we can enhance our comprehension and exert greater control over the components utilized, guided by the stringent seasons of the Cartmel Valley, where their cadence is most evident.

20/20/20 Philanthropic Gala

The event occurs over a significant few days for Rogan and the squad. On 14 September, Group Executive Chef Oli Marlow will host a charity event titled 20/20/20, including 20 chefs preparing 20 meals for a £20 charity lottery ticket. The event at Aulis London will showcase several esteemed personalities from the culinary realm, including Adam Byatt of Trinity, nutritionist Emily English, John Chantarasak of AngloThai, Kirk Haworth of Plates, baker Ruby Bhogal, and Great British Menu presenter Andi Oliver, among others.

Who is Simon Rogan?

Rogan initially emerged in the UK culinary landscape over two decades ago, establishing L’Enclume in the Lake District in 2002. This establishment evolved into one of the nation's most esteemed restaurants and currently ranks among only ten British establishments with three Michelin stars. Rogan then established a more casual dining establishment, Rogan & Co, and launched many restaurants in London, including Aulis and Roganic (since defunct). They all advocate for Rogan’s hyper-seasonal, local philosophy, emphasizing produce cultivated at Our Farm.

Situated discreetly off Dean Street, the Michelin-starred Aulis offers an intimate chef's table dining experience, for only 12 diners. The establishment offers a tasting menu curated by executive chef Oli Marlow and head chef Charlie Tayler, featuring dishes determined by seasonal availability. Currently, the menu include gooseberry tartlet with Chalk Stream trout, Herdwick lamb neck accompanied with carrot doughnut, Orkney scallops served with pineapple weed jelly, and Newlyn Market John Dory paired with smoked roe. The dessert consists of cherries, woodruff-infused cream, molasses cake, and candied buckwheat.

A Day at Our Farm pop-up shop is scheduled for 15 September 2025 at Aulis London, 16 St Anne’s Court, Soho, W1F 0BF ourfarm.simonrogan.co.uk
