Furthermore, BAO derives its name from the steamed, airy buns packed with a variety of options, including barbecue pork, stir-fried beef, and glazed veggies.



The eponymous cookbook showcases an array of traditional BAO meals and highlights the cultural street cuisine influences evident in its five establishments throughout the British metropolis. The book chronicles distinctive narratives from various locations in London’s Soho, Fitzrovia, Borough, King’s Cross, and Shoreditch districts.



The 240-page cookbook will explore the history of BAO, detailing its origins and the restaurant concept. Comprising more than 100 intricate recipes, the culinary guide thoroughly explores essential BAO foods—including delectable buns, noodles, rice dishes, beverages, and more offerings—enabling you to prepare them at your convenience.
