McDonald’s Drops Star-Studded World Cup 2026 Collectible Cups and Meals

Tapping into football nostalgia, McDonald’s is celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup by releasing a limited-edition capsule of collectible cups fronted by legendary icons like David Beckham and Ronaldinho.

McDonald’s is officially preparing for the worldwide event with the introduction of the new FIFA World Cup 26 Meal and Happy Meal. The fast-food behemoth invites fans globally to partake in a limited-time experience featuring exclusive memorabilia, customized packaging, and matchday excitement.

The partnership is divided into two primary releases designed for enthusiasts of all ages. Starting June 4, customers nationwide can obtain the FIFA World Cup 26 Meal, which includes a selection of either a classic Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. Every order includes a limited-edition, gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce. To enhance the matchday experience, the meal features one of nine collector mugs showcasing international soccer legends, including Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies, and Santiago Gimenez, in addition to the brand's own emblem, Grimace. A breakfast selection including the Sausage McMuffin with Egg or Sausage Egg Biscuit accompanied by Hash Browns will be offered.

Subsequent to the original introduction, McDonald’s will redirect its attention towards younger enthusiasts and collectors. Beginning June 9, the FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal will be launched in partnership with Squishmallows. Each Happy Meal will contain one of 23 exclusive plush toys, including the official mascots for the event that represent the host nations: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The plush creatures are adorned with distinctive soccer-themed jerseys and McDonald’s branding.

The McDonald’s FIFA World Cup 26 Meal will be available on June 4 at U.S. locations, followed by the Squishmallows Happy Meal launch on June 9 at participating McDonald’s restaurants.
