A Central Perk Coffeehouse, inspired by FRIENDS, is scheduled to debut in Times Square, New York City, in late Fall 2025.

Central Perk Coffee Co. (at 20 Times Square, New York City) will inaugurate their establishment in Times Square, New York City, reviving a contemporary iteration of the iconic FRIENDS coffee shop.
The new venue is scheduled to launch in late Fall 2025, providing enthusiasts and guests an immersive experience featuring a “Orange Sofa room” inspired by the series’ emblematic couch. Tom Colicchio, a Top Chef and James Beard Award recipient, who was a member of the original crew for the inaugural Boston restaurant, curated the menu. Visitors may acquire special items and the six original coffee blends from Central Perk Coffee Co., offered in many formats and compliant with sustainable sourcing standards.
“FRIENDS is a unique series that consistently unites individuals across generations,” stated Peter van Roden, EVP, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences. “Central Perk, the iconic coffeehouse and the group's headquarters, was always central to that narrative, situated in Manhattan.” It was a locale characterized by laughter, connection, and indelible moments, and it persists in that capacity today. Following a cordial reception in Boston, we are thrilled to introduce Central Perk Coffeehouse to Times Square, a venue that epitomizes the vibrancy, essence, and worldwide affection for FRIENDS, situated in the city where it originated.
“Upon inaugurating the inaugural Central Perk Coffeehouse in Boston, our objective was to extend our reach to New York City, a locale where enthusiasts and companions could forge their own narratives in the setting of the series,” stated Paul Landino of CenPer Holdings, LLC. “Establishing a presence in Times Square, recognized as the nexus of the world, presents a unique opportunity to actualize that vision, providing innovative coffee beverages and delectable cuisine in an environment that is simultaneously familiar and refreshingly contemporary.”
