Champagne has consistently served as a symbol of happy occasions. Curves, pivots, and detours will invariably occur during these experiences, although the unforeseen trip renders the attainment of our ultimate destination gratifying.

Chef Kwame Onwuachi is well-acquainted with bends, pivots, and detours; nonetheless, he understands that the key to success is steadfast commitment to one's goal. “If you persist, you cannot fail,” he asserts. Progress is not linear, rendering life's journey intriguing. Each step in your journey constitutes a milestone that advances you toward your objectives and merits celebration. Chef Kwame Onwuachi has collaborated with G.H. Mumm to motivate individuals to acknowledge the complexities of their life journeys and to commemorate every milestone, regardless of its magnitude or nature, whether conventional or unconventional.

Onwuachi and G.H. Mumm have united their innovative expertise to create a menu with distinctive delicacies paired with G.H. Mumm Champagne. The James Beard Award-winning chef's audacious and genuine flavors are influenced by his heritage and personal life experiences with the Maison's renowned Champagne. For almost two centuries, Maison Mumm has employed innovative techniques to honor the potency and composition of Pinot Noir, its hallmark grape.

Kwame crafted a fresh Kampachi Escovitch Crudo for the appetizer, followed by a roasted and confit Chicken Geerah accompanied by G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon, the House’s distinctive blend, for the main course. Kwame's concluding combination is the lavish Rainbow Cookie Panna Cotta dessert, designed to enhance the sweetness of the G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Rosé.

Chef Kwame has encountered numerous obstacles on his path to becoming one of America's most inspiring young culinary luminaries. Originating from the Bronx and nurtured in New York City, Nigeria, and Louisiana, he embarked on his journey to success, which commenced modestly with the sale of candies on the subway. He attended the Culinary Institute of America, gained experience at Michelin-rated institutions, and then opened five restaurants before turning 30.

“Exploration propels global progress; thus, why consistently opt for the secure route?” asserts Onwuachi.

Remaining faithful to his vision, Kwame has demonstrated that progress is not linear, which enhances the complexity of life's journey. Opportunities can be boundless with the readiness to explore new vistas and venture beyond one’s comfort zone. For further information regarding the production of G.H.
