Is Meghan Markle Planning a Restaurant?

Having having initiated a cooking program and a line of culinary goods, Meghan Markle may now be exploring opportunities in the hospitality sector for her next endeavor.

Recent claims from The Sun indicate that Meghan has trademarked her lifestyle brand, As Ever, for hospitality services. This is purportedly set to encompass 'supply of food and drink' and 'temporary accommodations', suggesting the potential establishment of a restaurant or hotel. We have numerous inquiries: will it be located in Los Angeles? What level of luxury are we discussing? What type of cuisine will be provided?

Although no confirmation has been provided, it would be a logical progression for As Ever (formerly known as American Riviera Orchard), characterized as 'more than a brand, it’s a love language.' In her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, viewers are granted access to her California residence, where she resides with Prince William and their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The series offers insight into her hosting style and preferred dishes, featuring guest appearances from various celebrities, including actor Mindy Kaling and chef Roy Choi.

The series highlights Meghan's passion for cuisine and hospitality. She is observed assembling welcome baskets for visitors, and in one episode, Meghan expresses her fondness for hosting guests, stating: 'When I have someone stay, one of my favorite activities is preparing the guest room.'

Numerous recipes from the program rapidly gained popularity, including her focaccia and pan spaghetti dish. Shortly after its broadcast, the initial release of products from As Ever was launched, featuring jam, herbal tea, wildflower honey, and cookie mixes. Additional product launches are anticipated, and a second season of With Love, Meghan has been officially confirmed. No formal dates have been disclosed; however, it is confirmed that Chrissy Teigen will be included.

Meghan has had a hectic year, having launched a new podcast titled Confessions of a Female Founder in April. Produced by Lemonada Media, this features Meghan conversing with various women about entrepreneurship, as well as discussing subjects such as pregnancy, media critique, and self-acceptance.
