Lacoste is broadening its “art de vivre” into the culinary realm with the inauguration of Café Lacoste, a new permanent hospitality venue in Paris. Situated within feet from the brand's flagship store on Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, this space signifies a substantial progression for the Crocodile, transitioning from transient pop-ups to a permanent establishment. This inaugural Parisian venue, created in collaboration with the Giraudi Group, embodies the brand's distinguished sporting legacy inside a 65-seat gourmet setting.

The interior design of Café Lacoste embodies the brand's essence, employing a colour scheme of deep green, off-white, and terracotta hues. The 100-square-meter design features premium materials and architectural lines influenced by the tennis court, fostering an ambiance that is both elegant and inviting. The visual uniformity encompasses the concept store section, where customers may get French ceramics bearing the Lacoste insignia alongside a carefully picked assortment of items.

Executive chef Thierry Paludetto has reinterpreted French classics on the menu, emphasising urban influences, and presenting a variety of options including club sandwiches, seasonal salads, and the famous “Iconic Polo” desserts. The beverage program is meticulously managed, showcasing artisan-roasted speciality coffees and innovative lattes in flavours such as pistachio and ube. The signature beverage, “L’Eau de Croco,” a combination of coconut water, matcha, and ginger, prominently features on the drink menu with “Le Chose,” a cocktail first created by René Lacoste in 1967.
